Mobile Billboard Trucks Features and Options

At Mobile Master we think options should be just that. . . optional. That’s why we offer our clients more freedom and more options than anyone else in the industry including fully integrated generators, cargo options, front scrolling or static signs, power supplies, FM transmitters, and an endless list of custom features we would be happy to help you design.
We’re constantly improving our products, and we want you to be familiar with the latest features and options on our 2008 scrolling billboard vehicles.

All of our trucks feature LED marker and tail lights with polished aluminum bezels, a high-end detail that will not be lost on your clients. Day or night, we think this is the best looking truck on the road, and when you see it next to our competitors’ trucks, we think you’ll agree.

We offer several AC power supply option on any of our vehicles, but again, we don’t want to make you pay for something you may not use and that’s why we make it optional. On the four trucks that we run locally in and around Nashville, two have the power supply and two do not. We prefer to use the battery charger and external lugs at events but the power supply is just as affective.

On the inside, our trucks are finished to the same high standards and feature bright white .050 aluminum sheeting and polished aluminum trim. Unlike our competitors, our showcase interiors have no exposed fasteners, or rivets and we use no FRP.

As with the lights, it may seem a silly thing to tout, but our batteries are pretty special. They carry double the reserve time of the industry standard for this application, and can be drained to zero charge over 4000 times with no ill effects. Yet another product we’ve had to set up to “distribute” directly to ourselves .

Details like our standard chrome fuel door add just the right touch of “bling” to your truck. Yes, this truck is about business, but it’s not just functional. In advertising, appearance is everything. That’s why we’re so fussy about even the smallest details.

Because we’re a custom manufacturer, we can tailor your vehicle to your specific application. That means things like D-ring tie downs, E-track and Aluma-track, custom cabinetry or shelving. Just name it, and four weeks later, we can have it in your truck. Just one of the many benefits to having your truck built to suit.

A new feature of our 2008 models is a set of external battery-lugs which eliminate the need for you to access your battery bank for charging. They are located between the media box and cab on the driver’s side. With all of its lights on and all the signs scrolling, our scrolling billboard vehicles will run for approximately 9 ½ hours on a full charge—you can even watch it on video if you’ve got the patience. Nonetheless, if you do ever need to top them off, or need extra juice for a showcase event, we’ve placed that ability right at your fingertips.

The master controller for our 2008 scrolling system is so advanced it’s simple. Configure ads in whatever order or in whatever groups you wish, scroll past any number of ads to land directly on a specific ad in Hot Mode, or simply push a button and go. You can set or change display times from the cab, run the signs independently or in unison, even run a pair in unison and one independently. With our optional touch-screen interface this can all happen right before your eyes, and because this system requires no hulky cabinet mounted inside the media box, you’ll never have climb back there to change a setting.

It may sound silly, but even our lights are special. We don’t just use standard AC shop lights that can be purchased from any home improvement store. We use ultra efficient DC florescent fixtures manufactured specifically for our application. Just to get them we had to become a “distributor” and buy them in multiples of 100.
Yeah, they’re that good.

One of the features you’ll find on our trucks is a front window over the cab. We think this is a far better place for a brilliantly backlit ad for your company than for mounting the auxiliary air conditioner. By keeping the AC unit on the floor your company name and logo will continue to be visible to thousands of potential advertisers . . . even at night. Opt for one of our 2’ x 6’ front scrolling signs and you’ll give yourself a lot of inventory with which to barter. It may not be the largest and most prominent spot on the truck, but we’ve used it affectively to barter for everything from free truck detailing to free gas to free parking. We think that’s better than any small benefit derived from having the AC unit mounted here instead of on the floor.

Underneath you’ll notice we’ve changed some things around for 2008 as well. We’ve moved away from the hardwood sub-floor and U-bolt configuration that is the standard in the truck and trailer manufacturing industry and gone to ¼” powdercoated C-channel risers and an electrostatically coated white aluminum sub-floor.

These are the motors for our new 2008 scrolling system. They are 3” in diameter, 16” long, and weigh nearly 12 lbs. They are fully incased in the rollers, employ an integrated electric brake, and will pull up to 18 images in either direction. They can move a 6’ x 10’ piece of media in about 3 seconds. And that is truly industrial grade.

Another feature of our 2008 scrolling billboard trucks is the one-piece solid stainless hinge trimmed in polished aluminum.

Our showcase interior offers you a clean, bright, and versatile platform for your next product display, event, or showcase. You will find flush mounted power outlets both at the front and rear of the media box. You’ll also find an attractive boxed 3” aluminum channel running the length of the truck on either side. Use this to run any cords or cables through when doing an event or showcase display.
You can also use the interior just to impress your advertising clients with the quality and attention to detail of your vehicle.

In 2008 we’re offering an optional 12-volt electronic linear actuator that opens or closes your back door with the touch of a button. Open it a foot, or one-hundred and eighty degrees.
The choice is yours.
